Highlands Of Maipo Valley. Its characterized
by Colluvial soils. A very large difference
of temperature between the day and night
during the ripening period contributes to wine
concentration and character.
50% Carmenere/ 35% Cabernet Sauvignon/
2% Merlot/ 3% Carignan/ 5% Malbec/
Information on Harvest and Vinification
Harvested manually during the beginning of
May. This wine is made from hand selected
grapes and fermented in stainless steel tanks.
The wine was partially aged in French oak for
12 months and then aged a further 3 months
in the bottle before release. Our wine is a blend
of six varieties of grapes: Cabernet Sauvignon,
Merlot, Carmenere, Carignan, Malbec,
Color: Dark ruby red with violet hues.
Aroma: Aromas of black plums, cassis, currants and candied orange with notes of incense and spiced.
Flavor: A deep, rich and complex wine with blackcurrant fruit flavours, ripe fig, dark chocolate and hints of leather on the long finish.
Consumption temperature: Between 16-18°C
Best served with: This wine suits juicy steak, spicy sauces particularly curries and mature cheeses.
